Imagery

Images are the first thing we notice. They make us stop in the constant stream of information and communication. Instantly, they give us an idea about the topic and quality of a certain content. Expectations are high. An image must be fresh, modern, and distinct in style. Content and composition must be right.

Defining an image style
First, it’s about finding a visual language – a consistent style across all media and contents. Photography, illustration or information design – still or moving, all three genres in line or focused on one.

Production of imagery
Second comes the image stock. What are the main topics? What’s the budget? In some cases purchasing images from a commercial database is wise. Often an own photo shoot leads to the best outcome value in quality, quantity and costs. We know a lot of great photographers and we’re happy to give you a hand in the development and setup of your very own image world.

Image database management
Corporate imagery needs to be managed and developed over time to make it an integral part of a brand’s identity. Structure and established processes help to do so:

  • Set-up of an image database: The right images at the right place.

  • Licensing and image rights: Keep some important things in mind.

  • User guidance: Instructions and trainings to keep the style.
